When reality is stranger than fiction

Did you ever have one of those days? When things just go so wrong , you decide to go home sometime mid day ;so if in fact the sky does fall in your head you’re at least at home when it does….. Today was one of those days....

Sometimes I like to think all our lives are like the movies…..we have our fair share of drama ( think any overblown argument), romance( in our heads anyway), tragedy , adventure ( think trip to another country, think trip to the mall ) … and sometimes we go into TV mode and we get things straight out of a sit-com ………

Yesterday/Today was one of those sitcom days , I was horrified for about a millisecond when the “event" happened then I understood the humor of the universe and shared a small chuckle with it….

I so needed someone to tell it to, IM’ed my cousin who was a bit shocked and sympathized, but she also admitted it was movie fare…. My roommate sympathized….

I miss my other gal pals ….I remember all of us sitting in our undergrad hostel and reliving excruciatingly boring details of our lives over and over again, today’s event was one of the better things we could have spoken about . I’m sure my friends would have found the humor in it, at least they would have four years ago… ..i’m not so sure about now ……………… the number of people who can relate to my daily trials, tribulations and joys and conversely the number of people whose daily lives I can relate to is progressively growing smaller, …………….maybe I should “grow up”. ……………..
