My Top 10 Songs list...

I could probably call this list my favorite songs of all time, most of them are perennial favorites but I’m sure songs will get added and probably take prominence as time goes by, it was tough to think of the list, had to rummage through CD’s ,MP3’s and play lists, hopefully I haven’t missed anything, In fact I replayed each of the songs on the short list to see if they still made me feel all tingly inside …..LOLLL!!! It was tough to get it down to ten !!!

Nothing very different over here , its popular music based, and I’m sure most people can find a favorite or two ….

Here’s the list arranged in no particular order….

1. Desperado- The Eagles If I had to pick just one from the Eagles….

2. Right Here Waiting- Richard Marx- Tell me which girl/guy in India doesn’t like this song total valentine’s day / love compilation song…

3. Heaven –Bryan Adams – nostalgia type song, even if you hear it at 14 you feel as if you’re remembering a long lost love LOL.

4. Forever Young- Alphaville- nice 80’s song, very Euro, from Napolean Dynamite as well as MTV Classic

5. I’m on Fire- Bruce Springsteen- What can I say…. AWESOME song!!!

6. Something So Strong –Crowded House- The Finn Brothers are good, they are from New Zealand, and so is Keith Urban ( Nicole Kidmans husband and country singer with some good songs!!!).anyway I may have heard his song before ,but it was on a lot in NZ, I remember once I was in the university bookstore I think I was in a good mood and this song was playing, I was about to start dancing in the shop, I don’t think the guy in the checkout counter shared my enthusiasm

7. White Flag –Dido- My cell phone ring tone!!

8. Thrown Down- Fleetwood Mac- I heard this one only recently , but compared to all the other Fleetwood Mac songs I’ve heard in the past.. like this one the best!!

9. Always on my mind – Pet Shop Boys-
Nice 80’s song, I like it slightly better than the original by Elvis Presley!!

10. We’ve Got Tonight-.Bob Seger -
I like Bob Seger’s version though the Kenny Rogers/ Sheena Easton version is good as well.

Notable mentions :
Waiting in Vain- Annie Lennox- bought the Serendipity Soundtrack for this song!! Time after Time – Cyndi lauper – Good 80’s love song, Take me home Country Roads- John Denver, I really don’t have to explain/ justify this, give it a listen if you haven't heard it already!!! Stuck with you – Huey Lewis and the News- this was voted one of the top 100 awesomely bad songs of all time by VH1, but its cute very catchy, I like it, thanks to VH1 for reminding me …
Dilemma-Nelly feat. Kelly Rowland-currently listening!!... and a few more songs!!!
