A few thoughts on women and spite: don't be Salome from John the Baptist's story.
Mark 6:22–24 (Amplified Bible):
"Now [Salome] the daughter of Herodias came in and danced [for the men]. She pleased and beguiled Herod and his dinner guests; and the king said to the girl, 'Ask me for whatever you want and I will give it to you.' ... She went out and said to her mother, 'What shall I ask for?' And Herodias replied, 'The head of John the Baptist!'"
Which brings me to David. Be like a King David. An Ideal Boy and Man.
“And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the Lord was with him” (1 Samuel 18:14).
Acts 13:22: "I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do."
Matthew 1:1 & Luke 1:32: Connect Jesus as the son of David and heir to his ancestral throne. [1]
- 2 Samuel 7:16 & Psalm 89:35–37: Emphasize the promise that David's house, kingdom, and throne would be established forever.
I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played and it pleased the LordBut you don't really care for music, do ya?It goes like this, the fourth, the fifthThe minor fall, the major liftThe baffled king composing Hallelujah
HallelujahHallelujahHallelujahHallelujah
Your faith was strong, but you needed proofYou saw her bathing on the roofHer beauty and the moonlight overthrew herShe tied you to a kitchen chairShe broke your throne and cut your hairAnd from your lips, she drew the Hallelujah
HallelujahHallelujahHallelujahHallelujah
I did my best, it wasn't muchI couldn't feel, so I tried to touchI've told the truth, I didn't come to fool yaAnd even though it all went wrongI'll stand before the Lord of SongWith nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah
HallelujahHallelujahHallelujahHallelujah
Traveling in a fried-out KombiOn a hippie trail, head full of zombieI met a strange lady, she made me nervousShe took me in and gave me breakfastAnd she said
"Do you come from a land down underWhere women glow and men plunder? Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder? You better run, you better take cover"
Buying bread from a man in BrusselsHe was six-foot-four and full of muscleI said, "Do you speak-a my language?"He just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwichAnd he said
"I come from a land down underWhere beer does flow and men chunderCan't you hear, can't you hear the thunder? You better run, you better take cover, yeah"
Lying in a den in BombayWith a slack jaw and not much to sayI said to the man, "Are you trying to tempt me?Because I come from the land of plenty"And he said
Oh, do you come from a land down under? (Ooh, yeah-yeah)Where women glow and men plunder? Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder? You better run, you better take cover, 'cause we are
Living in a land down underWhere women glow and men plunder (yeah)Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder? (Thunder)You better-better run, you better take cover
Living in a land down underWhere women glow and men plunderCan't you hear, can't you hear the thunder? Ooh, yeahYou better run, you better take cover
Where women glow and men plunderCan't you, can't you hear the thunder? (Can't you, can't you hear the thunder?)You better run, you better take cover
Living in a land down under (living in a land down under)Where women glow and men plunderCan't you, can't you hear the thunder?
