I've decided to update this blogs domain, it's been tashasays for maybe 20 years. My ideal choice would have been my name ( Natasha Samani), but it wasn't available so I've decided to change it to samaninatasha my last name and my first name. Less whimsical and more official.

Review: Asha Parekh The Hit Girl

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and completed it overnight. I learnt a few things about some classic movies. If you like me; grew up watching Hindi movies in the 1980s; this book is packed with nostalgia.
Khalid Mohammed style of film writing continues to shine. The book is full of pictures from the 1960’s and 1970’s. Asha Parekh comes across as a genuinely nice and interesting person.
If you’re a fan of Asha Parekh; Bollywood or even if you are looking for a quick read; buy this book!

Review: Zarathushtra

I had a copy of this comic book while growing up. In the 36 pages ACK manages to capture the birth of the religion of the Parsis of India. Based in ancient Persia; I have to admit for the Kindergartener me ( even though I grew up in Dubai) ; this was slightly different from my usual ACK fare of Devas. The God Ahura Mazda and the Angels of the Zoarastrians are depicted; as are the first converts. We also have many villains who try in many ways to destroy the Prophet and the religion but ultimately fail.
